Coffee Infused Simple Syrup

This delightful recipe combines the richness of coffee with the natural sweetness of Zulka® sugar. Get ready to elevate your beverages and desserts with this Coffee Flavored Simple Syrup.



  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup Zulka® sugar
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
  • Handful of your favorite coffee beans


  1. In a saucepan, combine water and Zulka® sugar. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add instant coffee granules and coffee beans to the saucepan and continue stirring until they are fully incorporated.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together and create a rich coffee-infused syrup.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the syrup cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any coffee granules.
  6. Add coffee beans back in if gifting, or as a reminder what flavor your syrup is.
  7. Transfer the syrup to a bottle or airtight container for storage. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
