Coffee Infused Simple Syrup
This delightful recipe combines the richness of coffee with the natural sweetness of Zulka® sugar. Get ready to elevate your beverages and desserts with this Coffee Flavored Simple Syrup.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup Zulka® sugar
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
- Handful of your favorite coffee beans
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and Zulka® sugar. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add instant coffee granules and coffee beans to the saucepan and continue stirring until they are fully incorporated.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together and create a rich coffee-infused syrup.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the syrup cool completely.
- Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any coffee granules.
- Add coffee beans back in if gifting, or as a reminder what flavor your syrup is.
- Transfer the syrup to a bottle or airtight container for storage. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
