Cinnamon Sugared Pecans
These Cinnamon Sugared Pecans are perfect as a snack on their own or as a topping for salads, desserts, or even breakfast dishes like oatmeal or yogurt. They also make a lovely homemade gift for family and friends during the holiday season.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Zulka® sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg white
- 4 cups of pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°
- In a bowl, combined sugar, cinnamon, and salt
- In a separate bowl, add egg, white and mix well
- Add pecans to egg, white and be sure all the nuts are coded in egg white
- Add pecans to sugar, cinnamon mixture
- Place pecans on parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes
- Remove from oven. Stir well.
- Return to oven and bake additional 10 minutes
- Remove from oven let cool
- May be stored in an airtight container for up to two weeks
